Ebook PDF Generation

1. Overview and Context

Once the print PDF has been fully checked, and ebook PDF can be generated.

2. Triggers

The execution of this procedure is usually triggered by

• Book Publication

3. Steps to Be Performed

• Create the ebook PDF
  • Combine cover JPG and print PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Move an empty page from the end of the PDF in between the first and second page (to fix recto/verso)
  • Save as ebook PDF
• Upload ebook PDF and cover JPG to the punctum PDF folder, e.g.:
  
  • 0446.1.00.pdf
  • 0446.1.00_frontcover.jpg

Do the following in Thoth:

• If necessary, update Cover Image to latest version
• Under Publications > PDF
  • Attach the ebook PDF file
