UponA receiptbook metadata record is first created after a contract has been signed.

PBN

PBNs (punctum books numbers) are internal identifiers for book projects. This system was introduced in 2019 and retroactively applied to the entire catalog. The first four digits of a PBN are assigned once a contract has been signed.

PBNs have the following structure:

xxxx.y.zz

    xxxx contains a four-digit code starting at 0000 for each book project y indicates the output format
      0: print-on-demand paperback 1: PDF 2: EPUB zz indicates the book/chapter
        00: the entire book 01: front matter 02 and higher: parts of the signedbook contract99: fromextract the author, the ms.
