Standard Production Deadlines

These deadlines provide a sense of within what time frame you should prepare to return materials to the corresponding editor. For example, if we are publishing your monograph, after receiving copyedits from us please return your documents to the copyeditor within 2 weeks.

Review

  • Returning manuscript after peer review: in discussion with author/editor
  • Returning manuscript after manuscript review: in discussion with author/editor

Copyediting

  • Returning first edits (monographs): 2 weeks
  • Returning first edits (edited volumes): 3 weeks
  • Small queries after the edited ms has been returned: As soon as possible.possible (with friendly verbiage).

Proofing

  • Returning proof corrections (monographs): 1 week
  • Returning proof corrections (edited volumes): 2 weeks
  • Small queries following proofing: As soon as possible.possible (with friendly verbiage).
