# Lightning Source Update

### 1. Overview and Context

This procedure updates the Lightning\_source table in the [SQL Database](https://docs.punctumbooks.com/books/service-component-library/page/sql-database).

<p class="callout warning">Lightning Source reports have bee discontinued. Their new reports can no longer be exported.</p>

### 2. Triggers

### 3. Steps to Be Performed

#### 3.1 Download

The books from the Uitgeverij imprint are hosted through [Lightning Source](https://wiki.punctumbooks.com/index.php?title=Lightning_Source "Lightning Source"). Reports can be downloaded from the Reports&gt;Print Sales menu item.

Lightning Source delivers XLS files.


#### 3.2 Clean

- Open in LibreOffice, switch off "space" as a possible delimiter
- Append 1 column to the left, add date in YYYY-MM-01 format
- Delete table header

#### 3.3 Upload

- Upload into phpMyAdmin table "Lightning\_source"
- select Import tab;
- select file
- click "Go."
